About Bow Valley Safety
About Bow Valley Safety
Senior safety leadership, sized for your business
Bow Valley Safety provides fractional safety leadership to growing construction companies and small trade contractors across Canada.
Through customized monthly packages and retainers, we help owners manage their safety programs, support supervisors and crews, prepare for audits, and meet the requirements of larger projects.
We also provide digital safety tools and forms as part of our BVS Digital Safety System.
You get experienced direction and practical follow-through without adding a full-time senior safety position.
What We Do
We take safety off your to-do list
A fractional safety leader becomes an extension of your management team. We learn how your business operates, identify what needs attention, and keep the work moving month after month.
Your package is built around your company and may include program management, inspections, compliance updates, supervisor support, audit preparation, training coordination, incident response, and reporting.
We can lead your safety function, strengthen an existing coordinator, or provide experienced support while your business grows.
Who We Serve
Built for construction and small trades
We work primarily with general contractors, subcontractors, builders, and growing trade businesses, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping, and field service companies.
BVS may be a good fit when:
- Safety is being managed by an owner, project manager, or supervisor who already has a full workload.
- You need stronger safety credentials to bid on larger projects.
- Your documentation or field practices have not kept pace with growth.
- A client request, audit, incident, or near miss has exposed gaps.
- You need ongoing safety leadership but are not ready for a full-time hire.
We also support businesses in hospitality, manufacturing, transportation, education, and other operational industries.

Our Story
Bow Valley Safety was founded in Alberta’s Bow Valley, where busy worksites, seasonal pressures, remote locations, and demanding operating conditions leave little room for impractical safety advice.
Under Sandra Jury-Fleming’s leadership, BVS has grown from a trusted regional resource into a Canada-wide safety partner serving construction, small trades, hospitality, manufacturing, education, and other operational businesses.
Our team combines senior safety leadership with hands-on field and technical support. We create safety systems that people can understand, use, and maintain long after the binder is written.

How We Work
Clear advice. Practical systems. Consistent follow-through.
Our recommendations are based on how your company actually operates. We write for the people who will use the program, work with supervisors rather than around them, and focus on the safety work that will make the greatest difference.
Clients can expect straightforward communication, realistic priorities, and a clear understanding of what needs to happen next.
